12243003_723514430601_8047712944131695289_nZach Anderson is a pastor, husband, father, and native Nebraskan. He is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and a graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. Following high school he attended Doane College (now Doane University) and pursued a degree in Public Administration, where he was recognized with the Doane Alumni Senior Award for graduating seniors. In 2018, Zach was awarded the Young Alumni Award by Doane University at Homecoming. During his time in college he served in youth ministry roles at three churches in the Crete and Lincoln area. In the fall of 2007, Zach moved to Kanas City to work towards his Master of Divinity degree. In that first year, he served as Intern to the University Minister at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, focusing on small groups. In the summer of 2008, Zach began his first appointment as pastor in the Conestoga Parish (Pleasant Dale, Denton, and Raymond UMCs.) After graduating from Saint Paul School of Theology, he was appointed full time as Associate Pastor at St. Paul’s UMC in Papillion. After two years in that role, he was appointed to join the community at Hanscom Park UMC in July of 2013. In July of 2017, Zach and Nicole moved to Goodland, Kansas, to be the senior pastor at First United Methodist Church, Goodland.

Zach lives in Goodland, KS with his wife, Nicole. He enjoys golfing, reading, camping, music, theater, music theater, and taking in live concerts. He has a passion for social justice and is engaged in many organizations that work for that ideal. His focus verse for life and ministry is Micah 6:8: “What does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God?”
