Zach Anderson is a pastor, husband, and native Nebraskan. He is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and a graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. Following high school he attended Doane College and pursued a degree in Public Administration. During his time in college he served in youth ministry roles at three churches in the Crete and Lincoln area. In the fall of 2007, Zach moved to Kanas City to work towards his Master of Divinity degree. In that first year, he served as Intern to the University Minister at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, focusing on small groups. In the summer of 2008, Zach began his first appointment as pastor in the Conestoga Parish (Pleasant Dale, Denton, and Raymond UMCs.) After graduating from Saint Paul School of Theology, he was appointed full time as Associate Pastor at St. Paul’s UMC in Papillion. After two years in that role, he was appointed to join the community at Hanscom Park UMC in July of 2013.
Zach lives in Omaha with his wife, Nicole. He enjoys golfing, reading, camping, music, theater, music theater, and taking in live concerts in the Omaha area. He has a passion for social justice and is engaged in many organizations that work for that ideal. His focus verse for life and ministry is Micah 6:8: “What does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God?”
